He is survived by: his siblings, Anne Daly, Jane Jackson and Lewis Whitaker; his wife Mildred Juanita Reynolds Whitaker; his sons, Norman Whitaker (Amelia) and Kirk Whitaker (Diana); and his grandchildren, Thaddaeus (Chasity) and Christian.
