He was predeceased by : his father Freddie Armstrong; and his sisters, Brenda Deatherage and Gail Danford. He is survived by : his children, Scott Armstrong (Vickie) and Wendy Lipscomb (Brad); his grandchildren, Wesley Armstrong, KC Armstrong, Tifani Armstrong Westcott (Spencer), Connor Lipscomb, Drew Lipscomb and Maddi Grace Lipscomb; and his close friend Sue Hammond.
