He was predeceased by: his parents, W. G. Bryan and Berline Shipes Bryan; and his siblings, Virginia Ward, Carolyn Linton, Charles and Reverend Billy Bryan.

He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Walker Bryan; his daughter Beverly Still (Steve); his brother Hardy Bryan (Elaine); his brother-in-law James E. Ward, Sr.; and his friend Jack Hyatt.
