He is survived by: his wife Kathaleen Freeman; his sons, Ashley Freeman and Jamie Barnhill; his stepdaughters, Sheila McCormick and Jewel Dubose; and his sister Betty Bowling. He is also survived by four grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
