He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Averette Owens and Omie Clenney Owens; his wife Margaret Daughtry Owens; his son William Clenney "Chip" Owens; his great grandchild Blake Keeler; his siblings, Alice Brassell and Sammy Owens; and his daughter Ellen Bowman (Jamie).
He is survived by: his son Kevin Owens (Wanda) of Dothan; his grandchildren, Katie Bowman, Emily Stanley (Eric), Trent Owens (Kaci) and Angela Fulford; and his great grandchildren, Landon Owens, Courtney Fulford, Conner Fulford, Brayden Stanley, Layla Stanley, Ayden English, Skye English and L. A. English.
