Woodrow Franklin Cosby Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Woodrow Franklin Cosby of Dothan, Alabama, who passed away on August 24, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Cosby and Pauline Cosby; his wife Mildred Cosby of Virginia; his sister Mary Alice Littlefield; his brother-in-law Ricky Shehane; and his stepdaughter Diane Batchelor.
He is survived by: his sons, Ronald Cosby (Lynne) of Dothan, Danny Cosby (Teresa) of Columbia and Dennis Cosby (Krystal) of Dothan; his stepchildren, Lynn Robinson of Austin, TX and Bobby Bryan (Dixie) of Montgomery; his stepson-in-law Walt Batchelor of Dothan; his sister Martha Lois Shehane (Ricky) of Dothan; and his grandchildren, Jason Cosby (Spring), April Amason (Jon-Patrick), Christopher Cosby (Margaret), Kade Cosby (Teanna) and Collin Cosby. He is also survived by seven step-grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and six step-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made to Ridgecrest Baptist Church Building Fund.
