He was predeceased by: his parents, Zin Riley and Susie Spurlock Weed; his son Michael Rex Bonner; and his brothers, Gerald and Tex.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Annette Weed; his sons, James Weed, Stan Weed (Sonya) and Stephen Weed (Alicia); his grandchildren, Jarrod Weed (Melanie), Jeremy Weed (Kayla), Clay Weed (Leslie), Kailey Johnson (Kyle), Kacey Acree (Brandon) and Klara Beth Weed; his great grandchildren, Dax Weed, Ava Weed, Kora Johnson and Kinley Johnson; his sister-in-law Barbara Weed; and his nephew Jackie Waters (Amy). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Sorrells Funeral Home Chapel (1315 W Lawrence St, Slocomb, AL 36375). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Sorrells Funeral Home (1315 W Lawrence St, Slocomb, AL 36375).
