He was predeceased by: his mother Minnie Head Goodwin; his daughter Debbie Goodwin Bell; and his granddaughter Katie Bell. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Goodwin; his daughters, Pam Rogers (Eric) and Terri Goodwin Self; his grandchildren, Jason Dunaway (Debbie), Kellie Estill (Shane), Lindsey Hood (Heath), Ericka Callahan, Whitney Hudson, Justin Haley, Dylan Rogers (Chelsea) and Levi Rogers; and his sister Mary Ruth Riddle. He is also survived by 18 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Nichols Funeral Home - Double Springs (25714 AL-195, Double Springs, AL 35553). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
