He is survived by: his wife Angie Thompson; his children, Chris Thompson and Staci Thompson (Kendall); his stepson Justin McCullar (George); his grandchildren, Tyler Hood, Marnae South (Justin), Jacob Thompson, Presley Billups and Zach Thompson; his stepgrandchildren, J. B. McCullar and Hannah McCullar; his great grandchildren, Graham South, Heidi South and Brycen South; and his sisters, Margaret Channell and Lisa Rice. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
