He was predeceased by: his parents, William Raymond Cobb (W. R.) and Mary Elizabeth Cobb (Lib); and his niece Paula Blanton Williams. He is survived by: his wife Leah Knowles Cobb; his children, Zeb Cobb (Becky) and J. Leigh McCown (Jon); and his grandchildren, Caleigh, Lynleigh, Colt, Jon Ryker, Laney Jo and BlakeLeigh.
A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Nichols Funeral Home (25714 AL-195, Double Springs, AL 35553).
