In loving memory of Shelby Ayers of Double Springs, Alabama, who departed this world on April 29, 2025 at the age of 53. Shelby leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Ayers and Joy Ayers; her siblings, Brenda Ayers and Woodrow Allen; her grandparents, Woodrow, Gertrude Downs, Elbert and Hazel Ayers; and her niece Ginger Lashae Lawrence.
She is survived by: her son Justin Cleghorn (Ariel); her granddaughter Bailey Mckenna Cleghorn; her sisters, Nancy Hammersley (Gary), Joy Burns and Christine "Darlene" Hulsey; and her siblings' children, Bretta Adams and Tyler Lawernce. She is also survived by other nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family respectfully requests donations to be made to Nichols Funeral home to help cover Shelby's funeral expenses.
