He is survived by: his wife Joan Grimes of Arab, AL; his children, Janna Gladden (John) of Albertville, AL, Holleigh Upchurch (Zach) of Carthage, TN and Scott Grimes of Arab, AL.; his grandchildren, Grayson Gladden, Hudson Gladden, Kennedy Gladden, Tynleigh Upchurch, Turner Upchurch, Mille Upchurch, Haleigh Harbison (Charlie), Sydney Grimes and Ethan Grimes; his great grandchildren, Payne Allen Harbison and Lilah Joan Harbison; and his siblings, Andy Grimes (Cindy) and Connie Kuecker (Bill).
