She was predeceased by: her parents, Derrel "Dusty" Rhodes and Louise Rhodes (George Curry); and her brother John Rhodes. She is survived by: her siblings, Sue Curry of Mobile and Ronnie Rhodes of Tuscaloosa; her sons, Derrel Curry (Becky) of Birmingham and James Curry (Susan) of Duncanville; her grandchildren, Taylor Curry (Camber) of Auburn, Parker Curry (Megan) of Birmingham, Abigail and Emily Curry of Northport; and her great grandchildren, Scott, Tate Curry of Auburn and Lauren Curry of Birmingham.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the First Methodist Church (800 Greensboro Ave, Tuscaloosa, AL 35401). A memorial service was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Duncanville Community Cemetery (mail to 12626 Indian Creek Road, Duncanville, AL 35456) or the First United Methodist Church of Tuscaloosa.
