He was predeceased by: his daughter Madelyn Sue Cooley; his parents, Kale Pole Cooley and Viola Guffey Cooley; his sisters, Arlene Blackstone and Mary Ruth Hackworth; his grandson Seth Jansen Cooley; and his great grandchild Myles Jett Cooley.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Gilliam Cooley; his children, Victoria Weaver, Katherine Moore, Michael Leon Cooley, Kenneth Scott Cooley and Conrad Lawrence Karp; his sisters, Lois Hackworth, Grace Beard and Barbara Steed; and his grandchildren, Lee Garrett Cooley, Matthew Clark Cooley, Fairen Pace, Stephanie Weaver, Carmen Weaver, Haven Moore, Katlyn Headrick and Kavan Green. He is also survived by 9 Great Grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the W. T Wilson Funeral Chapel (2226 Main St Shiloh, Rainsville, AL 35986). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
