He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Lester Wallace and Nelthen Lynette Wallace; his son Michael Bainter; and his sister Glenda Wallace. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Laughead Wallace of Eclectic, AL; his children, Charles L. Wallace (Lisa), Stephen S. Wallace (Debbie), Karen Bainter and Debby Simmons (Bill); and his grandchildren, Ashley Heath, Johnny Smith, Katie Atchison, Krista Jones, Courtney Gregson, Chad Wallace, Troy Simmons, Isaac Simmons and Leanna Simmons. He is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Radney Funeral Home (1326 Dadeville Rd, Alexander City, AL 35010). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home (1326 Dadeville Rd, Alexander City, AL 35010).
