It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ben Jones (Eclectic, Alabama), born in Tallassee, Alabama, who passed away on June 6, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his former life partner Voncile Davis Jones; his parents, Curtis A. Jones and Esther Jones; and his siblings, Curtis E. Jones and Louise Shaw.

He is survived by : his wife Fay Lock Jones; his children, Karen Hall (Gary) and Cliff Jones (Ashley); his grandchildren, Colby Jones (Paige), Abigail Jones, Emily Jones and Matthew Hall; his great grandchild Luke Allen Jones; his sister Mary Ruth Webster; and his stepchildren, Randall Lock (Janice), Wendell Lock (Jan), Kendell Lock (Terry) and Ramona Fray (Jeff).
