He was predeceased by: his parents, Essie Dee and Willie Lois Woodard; his siblings, Paul Woodard, Tim Woodard, Debbie Free, Doris Moses and Linda Burdette; and his nephew Luke Woodard.

He is survived by: his wife Lisa Sanders Woodard; his sons, John Paul Woodard (Heather) and William Woodard; his grandchildren, Vaughan Woodard, Marylee Woodard, Madalynn Woodard, Lawrence Woodard and McCullough Woodard; his great grandchildren, Corley Woodard and Harper King; and his brothers, Buddy Woodard (Leslie) and Steve Woodward.

A memorial gathering will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Woodard Home.
