Virginia Atkins Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on February 4, 2026, at the age of 86, Virginia Atkins (Eclectic, Alabama) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Ingram and Lurena Ingram. She is survived by: her husband Ben Atkins; her sister Retta Stevens; her children, Pam Eason (Mike), Rebecca Thornton (Bobby) and Bruce Atkins (Tonya); and her grandchildren, Seth, Brian, Maggie, Kyle, Brenden, Morgan and Laiken. She is also survived by seventeen great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be memorial contributions to Gideon International or Mount Hebron East Baptist Church.
