He is survived by: his wife Louise Silvers; his children, Steve Lynn (Cathy), James Lewis Silvers, Charlotte May (Greg), Angelia Singleton (Charles), Cynthia Whiteley and Tammy Parker; his grandchildren, Noah Sims, Joanna Grisword, Trey Owens, Heather Silvers, Shannon Parker, April Kinard, Walter Durocher, Ryan Durocher, Joshua Lynn, Shaina Lynn, Ashley Lynn, Christina Lynn, Paige Maystabler, Kalli May, Jared May, Anthony Singleton, Charles Singleton, Jr. and George Singleton; and his siblings, Ray Silvers (Brenda), Junior Silvers (Minnie), Edward Lee Silvers, Kenneth Brannan, Ronald Silvers (Donna), Kathleen "Kitty" Nabb and Frances Brannan. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
