He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard "Pat" Murray and Nelda Faye Jenkins Murray; and his wife Johnnie "Christine" Murray. He is survived by: his daughters, Claudia Collins (Matt Collins) of Gulfport and Christian Murray (Anthony Rutledge) of Butler, Alabama; and his grandsons, Finlin Lindeen, Wyatt Collins, Kayce Rutledge and Dustin Lindeen.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Valhalla Funeral Home (8730 Sims Rd, Eight Mile, AL 36613). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Valhalla Chapel (8730 Sims Rd, Eight Mile, AL 36613). A burial was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at the Valhalla Memorial Gardens (8730 Sims Rd, Eight Mile, AL 36613).
