He was predeceased by: his parents, Odus Bond and Edna Virginia Bond (Land); his son James Dwayne Bond; and his grandsons, Jason Lee Foster, Jeremy Kyle Haynes and James Jarvis Vanwinkle.
He is survived by: his brothers, Daniel Bond (LaCreta), Lawrence Ray Bond and Wayman Bond (Anita); his daughters, Sandra Darlene Hogan (Robert), Tiny Annette Johnson (Red), Brenda Lee Branum (Ronnie) and Myrdella June Allen; his stepdaughter Teresa Sharpee (Doug); his son Garrick Frank Metz; and his close friend Elizabeth Taylor (Peggy). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren.
