It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vanessa Harley (Eight Mile, Alabama), who passed away on December 25, 2025, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jeff Clifford Hayes and Gene Hayes; her siblings, Shirley Lyles and Jeff Hayes, Jr.; and her brothers-in-law, Sam Lyles and James Wheeler.
She is survived by: her husband William Carl Harley (Bill); her daughters, Kerri Bryan and Brandi Bryan; her grandchildren, Courtney Cole, Victor McDonald, Kirk McDonald, Destiny Pilkington, Makayla Pilkington (Kolby Dixon) and Zane Thompson; her great grandchild Rowen Dixon; and her sisters, Anice Wheeler, Danette Dearmon (Roger) and Gail Waters (Rusty). She is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
