She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Leroy Cunningham and Ella Cunningham (Williams); her brothers, Thomas Cunningham and Reginald Cunningham; and her husband Blake Stringer.

She is survived by: her siblings, Therrell Cunningham of Semmes and Jean Brannan of Mobile; and her children, Edward Blake Stringer, Jr. (Diane) of Spanish Fort, Walter Stringer (Debbie) of American Fork, UT, Ella Grace Young (Calvin) of Semmes and Shannon Harvey (Richard) of Bay Minette. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
