He is survived by: his son Harland Gene "Hal" Brunson of Lakeland, FL; his grandchildren, Mark E. Brunson (Ashley) of Elba, AL and Laura Brunson Kopp (Patrick) of Lakeland, FL; and his brother Foyel Brunson of Pinckard, AL.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Hayes Funeral Home (431 E Davis St, Elba, AL 36323). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Hayes Funeral Home Chapel (431 E Davis St, Elba, AL 36323).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to New Ebenezer Baptist Church.
