He was predeceased by: his parents, Bessie Sasser and Ed Sasser; his siblings, Howard, Randal, John Grady Sasser, Christine S. Nelson and Shirley S. Kelley; Joe Sue Sasser.
He is survived by: his sons, James David and Charles Bruce; his siblings-in-law, James Pike (Debbie) of Alexander City, AL and Dinah Kay Thomas (Daryl) of Alexander City, AL; his grandchildren, Christopher Alan Sasser (Sarah) of Andalusia, AL and Stephanie Christina Tucker (Mark) of Tuscaloosa, AL; his great grandchildren, Taylor Grace Sasser of Mobile, AL, Jamison Carter Sasser of Dothan, AL, Sawyer Rea Sasser of Dothan, AL, David William Tucker and Amie Jones (Dalton) of Andalusia, Alabama.; and his great great grandchildren, Sadie Louise Jones and Theodore Knox Jones. He is also survived by numerous Nieces and Nephews.
