She is survived by: her husband John Harper of Elba; her children, John "Jay" Harper of Nashville, Tenn. and Tiffany Blount (Stephen) of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; her grandchildren, Harper Blount of Birmingham, Ala. and Johnathan Blount of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; and her siblings, Katherine Barnett of Jemison, Ala. and Lafayette Huey (Dempsey) of Birmingham, Ala.. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
