We are sad to announce that on June 25, 2025, at the age of 83, Herbert Keith Wood of Elberta, Alabama passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Herbert Keith Wood to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Conner Wood and Margaret Curry Wood; and his sister Carolyn Wood Owens. He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Betty" Wood; his sons, Robert (Carolyn Ann), Randy (Elizabeth) and Ryan (Maggie); his grandchildren, Nathan (Tonnie), Zach, Conner, Jacob, Lauren, Raegan, Wyatt and Carsyn; his great grandchildren, Eli and Evie; his sister Patricia Somers; and his nephews, Tim Somers and Brian Owens. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Calendar St. Bartholomew Catholic Church (12975 Illinois St, Elberta, AL 36530). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to St. Bartholomew's Building Fund, or the American Heart Association.
