He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Leobardo Dionisio Ramos and Oveida Dollie Strickland; his wife Wanda Godwin Ramos; his sister-in-law Debbie Godwin; his children, John Ramos (Terrie), Rwandalee Ramos (Eric Gill) and Rebecca Ramos; and his grandchildren, John, Shawn, Braxton, Cameron, Hunter, William, Brandie, Brittany, Johnathan, Jessica, Courtney, Cenia and Rose.

A celebration of life was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the St Mark's Lutheran Church (13220 Main St, Elberta, AL 36530).
