He was predeceased by : his parents, Richard, Sr. Hoffman and Erma Hoffman. He is survived by : his wife Barbara Keppler Hoffman; his siblings, Frank Hoffman and Marie Majors; his children, Leslie Gahagan (Shawn) and Richard Hoffman (Jamie); his grandchildren, Colin Lassitter (Chloe), Drew Lassitter (Aquila), Morgan Ozug (Kai), Emmy Lassitter, Addison Hoffman, Brantley Hoffman and Sadie Gahagan; his great grandchildren, Paisley, Brooks, Ronin and Zhara; and his friends, Charlie Keppler and Al Willingham. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends and step grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Graham Creek Nature Preserve Interpretive Center (23030 Wolf Bay Dr, Foley, AL 36535).
