It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steve Sapp of Elberta, Alabama, born in Des Moines, Iowa, who passed away on September 29, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Gene Robert Sapp and Darlene Sapp; his brother Dave Sapp; and his brother-in-law Bob Phillips. He is survived by : his former life partner Janett Edwards; his wife Linda Ainsworth; his children, Stacey Lancaster (Heath), Garrett Sapp (Kristen) and Cody Sapp; his grandchildren, Kaden, Conner, Piper, Keeton, Kinnick, Kylee, Gunner and Caleb; his sisters, Cathy Phillips and Linda McGrew (Doug); and his pets, Shiloh and Max. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
When the world shut down during the COVID pandemic in early 2020, Steve and Linda moved to Elberta, Alabama.
