He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Julius Ewing and Evelyn Francis Callaway; his wife Betty Jean Hand; his son Thomas "Tommy" Ewing; and his siblings, Myrtle Ewing, Rena Schoetzow and Julius Ewing.
He is survived by: his children, Chris Ewing (Julie), Albert Ewing and Rose Riggan (Josh); his daughter-in-law Crystal Ewing; his grandchildren, Natosha Vick (Koda), Brittany Nims, Taylor Steadham (Curtis), Tristan Ewing (Mikayla), Hunter Riggan, Jordan Ewing, Ethan Ewing and Cherilyn Ewing; his great grandchildren, Bo Miller, Sebastian Ewing, Jaxton Steadham, Dallas Ewing and Josephine Steadham; his siblings, Audrey Callaway, Andrew "Buddy" Ewing, Deloris Maxson, Ira Ewing (Patty), Ella Strausser Cabaniss, Frances Bresher (Don), Louis Ewing (Debra) and Walter Lee Ewing (Mary Jane); and his sister-in-law Alyce Ewing. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
