He was predeceased by: his parents, Rebecca McNeill and Corneilus McGinnes; his stepfather Malcolm McNeill; his brother James McGinnes; and his stepsisters, Rita Hatcher and June Phillip.
He is survived by: his wife Rose; his sibling's children, Neil McGinnes (Katie McGinnes), Gail Harris (Rob), Karen McGinnes, Heather Phillip and Laurie McPeak; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Maegan Harris, Mairi McGinnes, Kyle Harris, Tyler Harris and Malcolm McGinnes.
His contributions to the opera community were so impactful that he was honored with a star outside the Pensacola Saenger Theatre — a lasting tribute to his dedication and support.
