He is survived by: his sons, Joseph Guthrie (Chrislynn) and James Guthrie (Sabrina); his brother Kevin Guthrie (Dana); and his nieces, Meagan Guthrie and Sarah Gonzalez. He is also survived by five grandchildren; and several of great-nieces and nephews.
