James R. Larson Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on May 9, 2023, at the age of 80, James R. Larson of Elkmont, Alabama, born in Carroll, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray C. Larson and V. Margaret Linden Larson; and his nephew Greg Goldy. He is survived by: his wife Sarah Larson; his daughters, Vicky Turner (Larry) of Loneoak, Paula Justice (Mark) of Harvest and Susan Donald (Sean) of Springville, Alabama; his grandchildren, Alex, Jack, Kelcy, Logan, Donovan and Sarah-Faith; and his siblings, Ross Larson (Kate) of Des Moines, Iowa and Avis Goldy (Richard) of Sugarland, Texas. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Mr. Larson's memory to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
