He is survived by: his wife Amelia Morris Smith of Elkmont, AL; his sons, Jay Smith (Katherine) and Wyn Smith (Merry Michael); his grandchildren, Charlie of Birmingham, AL, Townes of Birmingham, AL and Holt of Birmingham, AL; his siblings, Barbara Patterson (Kenneth), Donnie Smith (Sue) of Athens, AL and Bryan Smith (Latricia) of Athens, AL; and his brother-in-law John Morris (Donna) of Elkmont, AL. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
