She was predeceased by: her parents, Ed Pierce and Elvira Hunter Pierce; her son Leon Pierce; and her siblings, Joseph Lee Pierce, Charlie Pierce and Betty Jean Hamilton.
She is survived by: her children, Abel Pierce, Teresa Washington and Carrie Pierce; and her brother George Pierce (Angela). She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other family members.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Brookside Funeral Home (3360 Brookside Dr, Millbrook, AL 36054). The lying in state will be held on Saturday, July 5th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Father Son & Holy Ghost Church (583 Booth St, Prattville, AL 36067). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, July 5th 2025 at the Brookside Memorial Gardens (3360 Brookside Dr, Millbrook, AL 36054).
