He was predeceased by : his parents, Irving Freeman and Francis Austin, Sr. (Borden); and his wife Barbara Ann Austin. He is survived by : his son Stephen C. Austin; his daughter-in-law Patricia Diane Austin; and his siblings, Shirley Hughes, Gloria Hamel, John, Sharon Austin and Thomas Austin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
