He is survived by: his son David Powell (Renee); his sister Myrlean Hitson; his grandchildren, Erica Newton, Jonathan Powell (Courtney), Jordan Powell (Ashlee), Ashley Moon (Jason) and Amber Sealy (Corey); and his great grandchildren, Cullin Powell, Harper Newton, Henry Powell, Hadi Powell, Mercer Moon, Perry Moon and Jackson Hines. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
