She was predeceased by : her parents, Herman Verdo and Mattie Ann Pierce Hamilton; and her husband Charles Leroy "Chuck" Jones. She is survived by : her siblings, Carol Dismukes (Monk), Dale Morris and Curtis Hamilton (Ima). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
