She was predeceased by: her parents, John Akers and Emma Motte; and her siblings, Charlotte Simmons, Kathy Bates, Charles, Mike and Wayne Akers.
She is survived by: her son Jamie Motte; and her brother Stanley Akers. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and other family and friends.
