He was predeceased by: his wife Rebecca Baughn; his daughter Kimberly Ann Davenport; his brothers, Danny Rhodes, Donald Rhodes, Butch Rhodes, Jerry Rhodes and Johnny Rhodes; and his parents, Glenn Rhodes and Lillian Rhodes.

He is survived by: his grandchildren, Brady Davenport of Empire and Shaunda Wright of Empire; and his son-in-law Jacob Wright of Empire.
