He was predeceased by: his parents, Roscoe Mills and Bertie Mills; his stepmother Florine Mills; and his sister Dorothy Mills. He is survived by: his wife Betty D. Mills of Enterprise, AL; his children, Mark Mills (Laura) of Enterprise, AL and Martha Tuck (Ken) of Dothan, AL; his grandsons, Joshua Mills and Jacob Mills of Nashville, TN; and his great grandchild Madison Mills.
