He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlie E Bryant Sr. and Edna Mae Palmer Bryant; his wife Eddie Grace Bryant; and his sons, Carlie Evans "Butch" Bryant III and Anthony Jay Bryant.

He is survived by: his grandchildren, Cole Bryant and Tabitha Bryant; his great grandchild Alex Bryant; and his sister Betty Jo Holden. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
