With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carolyn June Waites (Enterprise, Alabama), who passed away on March 29, 2026 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Annie Laura Huggins (Hattaway) of Troy and William Huggins; and her siblings, Hubert Huggins, Dorothy Jinright of Troy and Louise McDuffie of Perdido.
She is survived by: her husband Edmond Joyce Waites; her daughters, Cindy Waites and Janet Skidmore (David) of Union Grove; her sister Deborah Davis (Paul) of Troy; her grandchildren, Will Dillard of Leighton, Melissa Wakefield (Tyler) of Tuscaloosa and Mary Skidmore of Union Grove; and her great grandchildren, Caroline Kay and Ralph Wade Wakefield of Tuscaloosa.
