He is survived by: his wife Joyce Oliver of Enterprise, AL; his son Lance Oliver (Meghan) of Charleston, SC; his grandchildren, James Briscoe Oliver and Caitlin Grace Oliver; and his brother Enoch Oliver. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Royal Family Kids Camp, or to Mentoring Matters-First Baptist Church.
