She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben Tom and Dorothy Nell Browning; her brother Stanley; and her sister-in-law Pat Browning. She is survived by: her husband Gerry Merrihew of Enterprise, AL; her children, Melissa Vanlandingham (Randy) of Level Plains, AL, Aimee Philbrook (James) of Colchester, VT, Robyn Hatgigannis (Peter) of South Hero, VT, Darby Merrihew (Monica) of Fairfax, VT and Timothy Hedges (Jennifer) of Godley, TX; her grandchildren, Jakob, Jordyn, Cameron (Michelle), Amanda (Jason), Brittney (Max), Kyle, Travis, Brandon, Cody, Dallas and Benjamin (Ashley); and her great grandchildren, Marilyn, Madison, Lucas, Eric, Enzo, Remi, Blake and Lou.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calendar First Baptist Church of Level Plains (8189 Co Rd 1, Enterprise, AL 36330). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
