He is survived by: his wife Asako Matsunaga; his children, Young-Kook Matsunaga of Baumholder, Inmi Brandsema (Edward Brandsema) of Birmingham, AL, Jin-Mi Matsunaga of Washington, D. C., Ka-Jong Matsunaga (Dillan Simmons) of Dothan, AL and Hong-Kook Matsunaga of Las Vegas, NV; and his sister Keiko Matsunaga of Japan.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory (4550 Boll Weevil Cir, Enterprise, AL 36330). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
