He was predeceased by: his father James Volley; and his siblings, Imogene Perkins, Inez Bailey, Billie Carlisle, Peggy Prish and Wesley Eugene Perkins.

He is survived by: his wife Verna Perkins of Enterprise, AL; and his daughters, Janice Green of Dothan, AL, Kathy Perkins of Enterprise, AL, Jamie Kurilla (Thomas) of Enterprise, AL, Jeanie Anderson (Richard) of Florida and Cynthia Gardner of Enterprise, AL. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
