We bid farewell to James Robert Callen of Enterprise, Alabama, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 3, 2025 at the age of 87. James touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucine Callen and Kathleen Callen; his brother Jack Callen; his sister-in-law Marianne Callen; and his sister Mary Will McAndrews.
He is survived by: his wife Karen M. Callen; his children, Jamie Callen Sells (Marty), James R. Callen Jr. and Jeffrey A. Callen (Christy); his grandchildren, Megan Fehlinger, Jessica Watson (Chad), Jared Callen, Jacob Callen and Olivia Callen; his great grandchild Ruby Watson; and his pet Daisy.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory (4550 Boll Weevil Cir, Enterprise, AL 36330). A burial will be held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Myrtlewood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Wiregrass Christian Youth Camp at P.O. Box 311072 Enterprise, AL 36331 in Jim's memory a cause close to his heart and his love for shaping future generations.
