He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry F. Strength and Nettie Summers Strength; his son Roger; his daughter-in-law Sandy Strength; his daughter Charlotte; and his son-in-law Dicky Knight.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Strength; his grandchildren, Jason Knight (Selina), Jeffery Knight (Lauren) and Sarah Leavelle (Lee); his stepgrandchildren, Kimberly Cascio and Victor Cascio; his great grandchildren, Nathan Knight (Madilyn) and Paige Knight; and his great great grandchildren, Baker Knight, Baylor Knight and Archie Crowell. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
